I love doing gift cards! I know some people might think it's lazy but I think it's so appropriate, especially when you know the person loves the brand and they will find exactly what they're looking for.

My go-to Christmas gift this year is wine from The Hidden Sea. I'm an ambassador for this wonderful South Australian wine company because I really love their mission: they've committed to removing 10 bottles of plastic from the worlds' oceans for every bottle of wine they sell. I love the idea of giving a gift that also does some good.

I think experiences are the best type of present! You'll know the person you're gifting to will enjoy a special moment and you will have contributed to that. Whether it's to a nice restaurant, a spa treatment or contribution to a holiday, gifting an experience will always be memorable and more often than not can be enjoyed with someone else.

For years it was CDs and DVDs, but sadly that doesn't cut it anymore. So now it's a bottle of red wine from Queensland's Granite Belt. This year either Golden Grove or Girraween Estate.
