Supermarket Sleuths: Major supermarkets offer massive Black Friday savings to online grocery shoppers

Australia's biggest supermarkets have joined in on this week's Black Friday 2025 sales event in an effort to drive online sales.
Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and IGA have a range of deals on offer to entice customers to use their websites and apps ahead of what is the biggest sales event of the year.
Online grocery sales at Coles and Woolworths account for just 10.8 to 12.5 per cent of all sales, according to the supermarket's latest sales figures.
We reached out to all the major supermarkets to find out what each is offering, with many launching early Black Friday deals from today.
These deals have come just in time for the festive season with Aussie shoppers planning ahead for Christmas Day in just four weeks time.?
Coles?
Coles has kicked off what they have labelled 'Black Friday Christmas Savings Week' today (November 24), focusing on online shoppers.

From today, Coles is giving customers the opportunity to double their discounts when shop online using the code SANTA.
Shoppers who spend $350 online will score $30 off their online shop, and a further $30 off their next shop.?
If you spend $250 online at Coles you will be given $20 off your shop and another $20 off your next shop.
Coles customers who $200 will save $15 off that shop and $15 off your next.?
Coles' Black Friday deals extend to their Liquorland brand, where shoppers will find 20 per cent off wine when you by six or more bottles of wine and use the code WINE20.?
There are further deals at Liquorland for customers who use the code CHEERS20.
Coles has also launched a Black Friday Online Only section on their website to help Aussie shopper access the best deals this week.
These products include pantry staples and cleaning products. ?
Coles shoppers can also score free item when they shop online and spend $100 and enter the daily promo code at checkout. The code will be shared on their website.
?Products include $10 off your shop and Arnott's Tim Tams.
Customers who place their first online order this Black Friday will be given 30 times the usual Flybuys points. This is valid for new online customers only.
Coles also has specials in meat, deli and seafood when you shop online with their "5 for $50" sales event running until December 2.
This include products like ?Coles Lamb Strips Souvlaki Seasoning 500g, Coles Made Easy Family Classics Slow Cooked Pork & Beef Meatballs In Tomato Sauce 800g, Coles Beef Diced 500g, Coles Australian Garlic Prawns In A Garlic And Herb Marinade 220g and more.

Woolworths
Woolworths is also giving shoppers the opportunity to save on groceries for this week's Black Friday sales event, starting with $10 off when customers spend $150 or over online and use the code DEAL.
You can also save on household, pantry and personal care items this week when you spend $50 or more online, scoring an immediate $15 off your shop, as well as half off the cost of a range of items including cleaning products and personal care items.
From ?November 19, new online customers can get $30 off a grocery shop and free delivery, until 2 December.
There are also bargains to be had on a range of confectionery items, pantry staples, drinks, personal care products and much more.
For the first time, Woolworths are offering better than half price offers across brands including Finish, Old El Paso, Zooper Doopers and Fantastic Noodles during the month of November.

IGA
IGA is offering customers Cash Back for this week's Black Friday sales event with a focus on their IGA Rewards app which customers need to download.
IGA Rewards members, who download the IGA Rewards app, will be able to accumulate their $20 IGA Cash Back within one shop.
IGA also has a range of products which will earn customers $5 Cash Back including Old El Paso Hard and Soft Kits 560g, or Family Taco Kits 495g, John West Tuna Tempters 12 Pack, Lindt Cornet Assorted 333g, and Pepsi, Solo or Schweppes 30 x 375ml selected varieties and many more.
Shoppers will also be able to earn five per cent IGA Cash Back on $50 and $100 IGA Gift Cards.

Aldi?
Aldi is also slashing the price of grocery items for this week's Black Friday sales event with dedicated sections on their app and website to help customers find the best deals.
However the discount supermarket retailer doesn't operate it's own online shopping, so customers still need to visit their nearest store to access these deals, or they can order them via DoorDash.
The Aldi website has dedicated Black Wednesday and Black Wednesday Deals sections on its app and website for this week only.
The bargains begin with these four meat products which have been reduced for a limited time only from November 26.
Their Boneless Drumstick Fillets Bulk Pack is $14.49, their Blazing Chicken Burgers are $9.79, Aldi's Pork Spare Ribs are on sale for $10.99 and a kilo of Pork Chipolatas are $9.99.
Also on offer, discounted TimTam varieties including Chewy Caramel and Double Coated.
Aldi has also discounted a range of soft drinks and energy drinks giving Aussie shoppers the perfect opportunity to stock up for the festive season and end of year celebrations.
These include Coca-Cola 36 can packs for $34.79, 24-packs of Pepsi or Solo cans for $22.49 and V energy drink four packs for $8.49.
