Aussie mum's DIY Christmas 'fireplace' proves a little creativity goes a long way

An Aussie mum has showcased a festive creation using affordable materials sourced at Kmart and Bunnings.
The result is truly magical and a perfect solution for parents of kids worried Santa won't be able to deliver gifts this Christmas due to the absence of a fireplace.
"Hi everyone. I'm the lady who made the wreath. I also made a fireplace," she shares on the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Facebook page.

In her photos, we see the shape of the fireplace created using cardboard, duct tape and adorned with affordable crafts.
The items you need to recreate it are:
- ?Brick wall wrap from Kmart or Bunnings
- Kmart garland
- Warm white lights from Kmart or Bunnings
Added features can include snow sheets, and the 'fire' is a colour printed picture.?

"Hope u like it," she adds.
Facebook users are delighted with the crafty creation, with many sharing their plans to build something similar ahead of the Christmas season, adding their own ideas for extra festive flair.?
Many asked for more information on the incredible creation.
"How many rolls of the brick wall wrap did you use," one Facebook follower asked, to which they were told just one roll as they are quite large.
The animal stockings were a gift from previous years, although similar ones can be bought at Kmart.
"I painted mine. Made this a few years ago . If that helps and you can't find wrap," one person shared.
"Ohhh I love this, I started making my own cardboard fireplace just yesterday. So much fun," added another.
"My little one was worried that Santa wasn't going to come because we didn't have a chimney. Nothing a few cardboard boxes and a sprinkle of elf magic couldn't fix! I love yours!!?" one person shared.
