Teen recreates 'first day of school' photo with her dad 13 years later

A teenager in the US has recreated a photo taken with her dad on her first day of school.
Jenna White, 17, has shared the photo recreation on her TikTok channel @itsnotjennawhite. In the video we see Jenna and her father standing on the doorstep of the family home. Jenna's dad is holding her and they are smiling at the camera.
In this photo Jenna is five and is wearing what seems to be a school uniform complete with black Mary Jane shoes. Her father is dressed in a blue shirt with a matching blue tie.

Thirteen years later and the father and daughter have recreated the photo, with the result going viral on Jenna's TikTok channel. They are dressed in similar outfits and smiling widely. This was taken on Jenna's last day of school.
In the video description she writes: "I have never cried so hard in my whole life taking this photo 2009 to 2022."
Jenna adds in the comments section: "He's been by my side the whole 13 years."

The video of the photo recreation has been viewed more than 476,000 times.
"Literally OMG," writes one.
"Sorry this is so so cute," adds another.
"I don't always get on with my dad but I'm crying this is so cute," another writes.
"Omgggg stop awww this is absolutely adorable," says another of Jenna's TikTok followers.
Later in the comments Jenna reveals the photo recreation was all her mum's idea.
One person writes: "So glad your dad decided not to age."
Others say they plan to do the same with their parents.
"Let's do this with our dads," writes one.
"No I'm actually sobbing," says another.
