Influencer's tragic post just days before dying

A Florida teenager has died in a car crash just days after sharing a viral TikTok post.

Kara Santorelli, 18, was driving along Highway 29 in Florida when she was struck by a car reportedly travelling in the wrong direction. Both Santorelli and the other driver died at the scene.

Condolence messages have been flooding in following the tragic death.

"I feel so bad for her rip lovely girl," one TikToker commented.

"There's no way," another said.

It was on March 12 that the teenager shared a viral TikTok post about having never been in a car crash.

"When they try call me a bad driver but I've never hit a person or an actual car," Santorelli captioned the video which shows her seated in the driver seat of her car.

The video was viewed 15.2 million times.

Just a week later the teenager was driving in her Nissan SUV when a Chevrolet sedan reportedly struck her on the highway.?

Kara Santorelli, 18, was driving down Highway 29 in Escambia County, Florida, when a Chevrolet sedan came careening the wrong way and smashed into her Nissan SUV, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Santorelli, of Molino, died in the wreck, with the other driver, who has yet to be identified, also perishing after being trapped in their own vehicle.

?More recent videos show the high schooler out with friends and at the beach.

Her obituary, which has been published via a local news outlet, describes the Northview High School student as having "lived life to the fullest."

Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her dog, Merlot," it continued.

The teens mother Lacey McLaughlin? has taken to Facebook to share her grief.

"God blessed me with you," she wrote in one post.

Her aunt, Gina Southard, wrote on Facebook: "A little piece of my heart died today when I found out my niece went to heaven. I love your beautiful soul Kara!"?

While her 'safe driver' video is still her most viewed, the teenager's TikTok videos are all being viewed by her followers who are sharing their thoughts following her tragic death.

"Rest in peace Kara, this is so unfair," one commented.

"Rest in peace sweet girl, I'm sorry this happened to you," another said.

Northview High School shared the following statement.?

"Today, with sad hearts, we welcome back our students after spring break. We are deeply sorry for the tragic loss of our senior Kara Santorelli. We hold tight to beautiful memories that she had left with us. Her beautiful smile and kind spirit will continue to be in the hearts of her friends and classmates.

"We also extend our condolences to her family, praying that they find comfort and strength in the midst of their grief."
