To do the clever folding trick yourself, you'll need to put your present in the centre of a square piece of paper, which should be positioned like a diamond.
Then you need to fold the corner closest to you over the box so that the corner goes over the box, and then flatten the corner.
Next, fold in the sides of the paper one at a time before turning the box over?.
At this point you'll have the top corner left to fold, and if you've followed the steps correctly you should have a pocket on the side? to slip the remaining corner into. And you're done!
But if your problem is not having enough wrapping paper, there is a hack to help with that, too.?
Aussie home hacks guru Chantel Mila has lots of present wrapping solutions on her TikTok page, including one for ?when your paper is too short for the gift.
To solve this problem, place your gift diagonally in the centre of the paper.
Then bring all of the corners of the paper inwards and secure with tape (if you haven't run out already).
This TikTok must have struck a chord with gift wrappers because it's had 1.2 million views.
"How have I never thought of this!?" one viewer posted in the comments.
"Nooooo way! I've wasted sooo much paper. Such a simple solution!" a follower wrote.
