In the comments, the woman gave further details on how she used the product. After spraying the shoes she tossed them into the washing machine and they came out looking fantastic.

"I bought this last week and was super shocked how well it worked!!!! Highly recommend, worked way better than the brand ones?," one said.

"Best product I've ever used! So surprised it actually worked so damn well I'm actually so bummed it's starting to catch on," commented a mum.

"This stuff is the bomb... I spray this stuff on the stains, leave them for about 20 minutes then wash and can report they come out spotless every time. Buy it, use it and you won't regret it," another said.

Other members of the group shared their advice for washing sneakers in the washing machine.

"Don't put it on a full load, the shoes float and can rub on the top of the tub surround and cause holes and marks?," one commented.

"Just be aware that some washing machines specifically say that washing shoes in them voids your warranty. So have a quick check of your manual before trying this on your own shoes," another said.

Others suggested popping shoes in a delicates bag or adding some towels to the wash with shoes to balance the machine and protect the shoes.

If you don't want to put your shoes in the washing machine, you might want to try this suggestion from another member of Mums Who Clean.

?"Woolies sells sneaker cleaner foam/mousse my 17-year-old did her Converse and they came up really clean, it said use a stiff brush so I bought a nail brush for it. It must have been pretty easy because she was so impressed she did a few pairs. The whole shoe isn't soaking wet with the stuff she used," they said.
