Hunger Games star Alexander Ludwig reveals wife had third miscarriage

Hunger Games star Alexander Ludwig has revealed his wife Lauren has had her third miscarriage and praised her "resilience" and "strength".
Posting to Instagram, Ludwig, 30, reshared a post by his wife, which explained the experience was just another "bump" in their "journey".
"This woman's strength astounds me every time. I love you @laurendludwig and your resilience through this just is one more of the countless reasons I love you," he wrote.

He added: "All the bumps life throws our way, we got this. And for anyone else, you're not alone. It's a hell of a lot more normal than I thought."
Further in the caption, Ludwig shared his wife's initial caption on her post. She explained that she had been "going back and forth" wondering if she should post publically about their experience, and finally decided that she would.
"Last week @alexanderludwig and I had our 3rd miscarriage," Lauren wrote. "I decided I wanted to share because I don't think it's a shameful thing to talk about.
"I want to help others realise how common miscarriages are and how they aren't something to be embarrassed about...It's so common and yet, I feel it's not talked about nearly enough," she wrote.

Lauren wrote that she hoped her post could help others "know they are not alone."
Alexander and Lauren married in January last year, after deciding to elope.
"My wife, my best friend, the future mother of my children, my everything. @laurendear," the actor gushed as he shared a photo from their special day.
The pair married in a private ceremony that was attended only by a celebrant and their dog.
"We decided to elope. It has been such a crazy year but it certainly put things into perspective. Life is too short, and I didn't want to spend another day without calling this beautiful woman my wife," Alexander explained in his post.
