Kit Harington opens up about preparing for baby number two: 'He's about to get the shock of his life'

Kit Harington and his wife ?Rose Leslie are gearing up for the arrival of their second child, but it seems their first may not be as ready as they are.
The notoriously private dad has revealed that his two-year-old son isn't very prepared for how life will change for the family once baby number two comes along.
"I don't know if he's really conceptually understood anything yet," Harington said during an interview on the red carpet for his TV show Extrapolations with Entertainment Tonight.
The former Game of Thrones star added that his little boy is "about to get the shock of his life."

The actor and his pregnant wife, who met on the set of Game of Thrones, are incredibly excited to become a family of four but seem to have taken a different approach to parenting this time around.
"With our first child, it was sort of romantic, for one of a better word. And this other one, we're like, 'Right, OK, let's get. We know how efficient we have to be. Let's get down to parenting," he revealed in the chat.
The dad even admitted that the couple may be "almost too practical" about the situation. ?

However, Harington ?is taking inspiration from his mum, who he says was always "present" with him and his siblings as they were growing up.
"My mum says that she never remembers us being little kids or the early parenting much, because you're so present in it. And I think that's what kids allow you to be is incredibly present in the moment, cause you've got no choice," he told Entertainment Tonight.
And although he believes his son will need to adjust to the new addition, and no longer being the only child, he can't wait to see him become a big brother.
"My boy loves life. He charges around. I think he's going to be a great older brother. It's just really exciting," the dad said.
Harrington and Leslie tied the knot in June 2018 and welcomed their first child in 2021?.
