By Madhurima Haque|

During her pregnancy, first-time mum Kayla expected her child to come out 'super tiny' like she always was.

However, what she didn't expect was to go viral given the siginifcant size difference between her own petite frame and her "chunky" baby.

The 18-year-old mum has shared a video on TikTok @thatmomkayla answering questions about her "big baby" - and its since gone viral with over 1 million views.

Kayla captioned the video: "Me thinking my baby will always be super tiny like I was while I was pregnant."

"Her dad's side is tall and big so of course she's just like them," she added.

Standing side by side, the baby is almost half her mum's size already at just 14-months-old.

In another video, Kayla said her baby weighed 14.9kgs 'at her one-year appointment'.

"Not going to lie, yes I was concerned, but that's why I got second opinions," she wrote in response to the question: 'Not to be rude, but aren't you concerned by her weight?'.

"I'm not worried anymore, she's just a big healthy growing girl.'

Many people chimed in with comments about just how large the baby is compared to her mum - with some trolling the new mum and claiming her daughter was overweight.

"There is no way your doctor isn't telling you to slow it down a little. She is way bigger than normal kids her age," commented one person.

"I can't decide if that's a large baby or a normal-sized baby being held by a tiny person," said another.

"Everyone (is) shaming her...It's a baby and she'll grow into her skin the older she gets. A lot of mums who breastfeed I notice their babies are bigger," explained another.

Some commenters reminded others to be kind and considerate to the family and their baby.

"As long as the doctor isn't concerned neither should anyone else," said one commenter.

"Let's normalise healthy babies having different body types. They're human beings too," said another.

"As a bigger girl of a tiny mum, please be sure to lavish that girl with praise for her perfect body size! It's not our fault we had huge fathers!"

Others took a humorous approach.

"Damn did that baby walk home after the delivery," joked one commenter. "Do y'all take turns holding each other?" asked another.
