Mum discovers her 'singleton' is triplets at seven months pregnant

B?eing told you were expecting triplets would be a shock to anyone.
But finding out you were carrying three babies at seven months pregnant is on a whole other level.
Especially when you were initially told you were expecting just the one.
It's an experience mum Genna is still trying to grasp three years after finding out about her 'hidden triplets'.

Recounting the story in a now viral TikTok clip, Genna, who is also mum to Liam, five, explains how she and husband Kyle were told the shocking news just four weeks before delivering their fraternal triplets Kaylee, Lily and Cecilia.
"Me thinking we'll have one more baby, and give this kid an awesome sibling," Genna captions a clip of herself dancing around Liam.

"Then so excited that we're having a girl, we'll have two kids and be doneกญ" she added, as she's joined by one of her daughters.
"THEN... We're 4.5 months pregnant and we find out it's actually TWINS!"?
As another of the triplets joins her, she continues: "?We're seven months pregnant and find out it's actually TRIPLETS," as a third toddler runs into the room.

Genna explains in the comments how the other two babies were initially missed.
"?For those confused, we had hidden triplets. Found the second halfway through the pregnancy, and the third less than a month before delivery," she clarified.
Many of her followers shared their amazement at her story.
"Omg you found out at seven months?? I'm only three months pregnant and I'm freaking out now?," shared one. "Boy is still in shock," joked another.
"Going from one to two is an adjustment but three only one month before delivery??! Wow," agreed a third. "I'm pregnant and this is my new fear," said another.

However, others raised concerns about how they managed to go undetected.
"As a sonographer, stories like this make me so concerned for your OB office/imaging department," said one.
"How did it take so long for them to detect twins let alone triplets? I knew at six weeks that I was pregnant with twins?," added another.
