The yearly battle of the supermarket advent calendars is officially underway, with major retailers vying to offer the best festive treats this season.
Aldi, Woolworths and Coles have all unleashed their selection ready for December 1, while The Reject Shop and Kmart have their own budget-friendly buys on offer.
We've done a comparison of all of them, so you don't have to. ?
The Reject Shop?
This year, The Reject Shop is selling an Elf on the Shelf chocolate advent calendar for just $4.50. ?
The Elf on the Shelf Advent calendar is a licensed festive find featuring milk chocolate treats, and will be the perfect addition to families' Elf on the Shelf obsessions this Christmas.
But you need to get in quick, as sales are ramping up ahead of December 1, and it is sure to sell out fast.
If it does sell out, The Reject Shop has plenty more options including ?the good old Cadbury Advent Calendar for $6.50, a chocolate and gummy Santa Bear Advent calendar for $3.50, and a Trolli Fruiti Gummy Advent calendar for $4.
The next best place to shop for affordable Advent calendars is Aldi.

At Aldi, you'll find several options for kids including many of the same being sold at The Reject Shop, but for much less.
They are selling the Cadbury Advent calendar for $4.99 and the same Trolli Gummy Advent calendar for $3.99.
Also at Aldi, the Chupa Chups Advent calendar selling for $7.99, which is less than at Coles and Woolies.
They also have a War Heads Advent calendar for $3.99 and a Stitch or Hot Wheels chocolate Advent calendar for $4.49.
Coles
Coles also has a brilliant range of Advent calendars for the festive season, sure to please every child.?
Coles is currently selling the Cadbury's Advent calendar for half price at $4.50 instead of $9. You'll also find the Chupa Chup?s Advent calendar for $10 and the popular Kinder Pop Up Advent calendar for $15, or two for $22.
Reese's Advent Calendar is on sale at Coles for $20?, and the supermarket is also selling the Lindt Teddy & Friends Advent calendar for ?$30.
Woolworths
Woolies has a similar stunning range of Advent calendars for kids and they come in a range of prices to suit all budgets.?
Woolies has price-matched with Coles and are selling the Cadbury Advent calendar for $4.50. They also have the Cadbury 3D Advent Calendar Santa's Workshop for $15, down from $20.
Woolworths is also selling the Lindt Lindor ?Advent Calendar for $10, down from $15, and the Lindt Teddy & Friends ?$20, $10 less than at Coles. Once again, it pays to shop around.
You can also get the Chupa Chup?s Advent calendar from Woolies for $10 which is $7.50 cheaper than at Coles.
Aldi
Then there is Aldi where you will find an extensive selection of fun Advent calendars this year, including a range of Disney Advent calendars.
Aldi's Disney Stitch or Hot Wheels Advent calendars on sale for $4.49 each.

Aldi has the Cadbury Advent calendar for the lowest price out of all the retailers, at $4.49.
Aldi is also selling Assorted Adult Mini Puzzle Advent calendars for ?$14.99 each.
Kmart
Kmart doesn't disappoint, with a brilliant range of Advent calendars for kids this festive season จC including Cadbury's for $6.50 each.?
