By Merryn Porter |

Some people like traditional baby names. Others like to add a twist to more common names by tweaking the spelling.

Now a woman who makes personalised baby clothes has taken to TikTok to share some of the more unusual baby names she has encountered.

The woman, from Arizona in the US, runs an online clothing store Kins & Kay where she sells newborn items, kids clothes, matching 'mummy and me' outfits and even T-shirts emblazoned with the word 'Dad'.

She also provides personalised baby name outfits, which is what prompted her to take to her Kins & Kay TikTok account to share details of some of the unique names she has encountered.

One of the videos starts with a newborn baby boy in a Moses basket. Across the screen she wrote "Unique baby boy names I have done recently. If you had to choose one which would it be?"

Some of the outfits she has produced then race across the screen emblazoned with the names 'Thatcher', 'Blaise', 'Ollyver', 'Atreus', 'Elston'. 'Stetson', 'Cord', 'Cohen', 'Doc', 'Na'zir' and Colter.

She posted the video with the comment "Let's hear your unique name OR which would you choose if you HAD to?" and the hashtags #babyname #uniquebabynames #babyboy #itsaboy #babyboynames #babyontheway and #duein.

Some of the names certainly got people talking.

"These are real names?" asked one. "OMG poor children," said another.

"These names are out of control," wrote another, "Starting to think people are just picking letters out of a hat and making it a name," said another.

"Well, I had a horse named Starla," said another, while someone else said, "Someone really named their baby Mi'Amor? As in 'my love'?"
