For the second year in a row, it seems a Cavoodle called Charlie is the most popular dog in Australia.
That's according to HCF Pet Insurance, which analysed the most popular dog names and breeds across each state and territory after surveying over 1000 Australians.
On the whole, the top 10 most popular dog names across Australia aside from Charlie are Coco, Bella, Ruby, Max, Luna, Molly, Buddy, Daisy and Frankie.
In terms of breeds, second to Cavoodles in Australia are Maltese cross-breeds, followed by Labradors, Labradoodles, Staffordshire bull terriers, golden retrievers, spoodles, border collies, Cavalier King Charles spaniels and groodles.
Not every state and territory agrees on which name and breed is the best, however, and it seems Tasmania is the odd one out...

Shock horror, New South Wales' most popular dog name is Charlie, and the most popular dog breed is the Cavoodle.
Other popular dog names in NSW are Coco, Daisy, Ruby and Luna.
When it comes to breeds, the people of NSW are also fond of Labradors, Maltese crosses, Labradoodles and Staffordshire bull terriers.
Queenslanders are also top fans of the Cavoodle, but they prefer theirs to be named Bella.
Other popular names for furry friends in Queensland include Ruby, Max, Molly and Frankie, and Maltese crosses are just a tad more popular than Labradors compared to their southern neighbours.
Labradors came in third in terms of preferred breed in Queensland, followed by border collies and Labradoodles.
It seems no matter where you are on the eastern seaboard, Cavoodles reign supreme.
Victorians do love their Charlie Cavoodles like New South Wales, but, like Queensland, Maltese crosses come in second and Labradors third.
Golden retrievers are next up, followed by spoodles.
Chances are, if they're not called Charlie, Victorian puppies are called Coco, or Max, Ruby or Luna.
Tasmania might be east, but they're nothing like their northern neighbours ¨C at least, that's according to the data that says the state's most popular dog breed is the Labrador.
Cavoodles don't grace Tasmania's top five preferred breeds at all, with Staffordshire bull terriers, Maltese srosses, golden retrievers, and dachshunds taking out those spots.
It's also less likely any of their dogs are called Charlie ¨C Ziggy is the name that reigns supreme in the Apple Isle, with Riley coming in second, followed by Sheba, Maggie and Lola.
While they're geographically apart by almost 3000 kilometres, the Northern Territory has something in common with Tasmania ¨C they like to do things differently.
That's where the dog breed similarities end, however, as the preferred dog breed up top is the Jack Russell terrier, followed by Labrador crosses, Cavoodles, bull Arab crosses, and Maltese terriers.
Names, however, also align somewhat with Tasmania, with the Northern Territory preferring Ziggy too, with Jack following closely behind, as well as Jazz and Jessica.
If you're a West Australian, chances are you like your Staffordshire bull terriers, and they're called Coco.
Molly, Luna, Buddy and Bella are also among the most popular dog names in Western Australia.
Maltese crosses, Labradors, kelpie crosses, and border collies are also in the top five most popular breeds, marking another state that holds less love for Cavoodles than the rest.
South Australia, back at it again with the Cavoodle! Though this sweet puppy is more likely to be called Buddy.
Charlie is not completely ruled out of the picture, however, with the name coming in second, followed by Molly, Ollie, and Frankie.
Maltese crosses are also the second most popular breed, followed by Labradoodles, Labradors and golden retrievers.
Considering the Australian Capital Territory is nestled in the midst of New South Wales, it stands to reason their most popular dog breed is the Cavoodle.
Unlike their New South Wales neighbours, however, those in the ACT prefer to call their dogs Toby, followed by Ruby, Molly, Charlie, and Luna.
Maltese crosses came in second for most popular breeds, followed by Labradors, Staffordshire bull terriers, and Labradoodles.
