"I want to take them all home with me & love them. Since that is an impossibly, I'm glad they got a treat. Food is love for homeless dogs. Their live in cages are hard enough. I'm glad there are people who care for them," wrote another.

But some were still critical.?

"I don't think dogs should be eating McDonald's burgers. They're pumped with a lot of chemicals and preservatives that's not good for their bellies it's really not even good for people," wrote one concerned commenter.

"I just donate quality dog food regularly instead. Pancreatitis is no joke and a lot of dogs die from this all the time. Don't feed your dogs table scraps y'all. If you wanna do a burger, fine! Cook them some quality burgers with no oil/ seasoning instead. Spoil them like you want them to live longer," said one adamant commenter.

"Give me a break. My dog has had pancreatitis and she didn't get it from eating McDonald's burgers. It's not like they're getting these burgers every day. These poor dogs get a wonderful delicious treat once in a while and you negative nellies have to find a way to ruin it," responded one commenter.
