Crowd cheers as woman rescues dog trapped in designer London store

It's something you wouldn't expect to see in a high-end fashion store in a million years.
Over in London, shoppers have been left in disbelief after watching a woman rescue a trapped dog with a coat hanger in what was almost a designer disaster.
The resulting TikTok video has been viewed almost 3 million times, with more than 250,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Shoppers watched on after a dog appeared to get caught between a window and a sign on the third floor of the Miu Miu store on London's famous Bond Street.

The dog didn't quite appear to be distressed, but one can only imagine how the little pooch may have been feeling.
One woman appears to have laid on the floor first to pat the dog in an attempt to calm it.
Contemplating what to do, a second woman lays on the ground and reappears with a coat hanger, suggesting she would attempt to use the hook of the coat hanger to pull up the dog.
Shoppers can be heard in the background of the video discussing and questioning with each other about how the woman might rescue the dog.

After a few moments of contemplation, the young woman calmly places the hook of the coat hanger through the dog's harness, rather than the collar, to avoid choking it.
Cheers can be heard among the crowd watching on as she pulls the dog up to safety.
Comments on the video mostly appeared to question how the pooch got stuck in the first place and questioned the whereabouts of the owner.
One user wrote, "People need to stop taking their dogs off-leash on the street."

Others were simply happy the dog was OK and luckily wearing a little jacket harness the coat hanger was able to hook onto.
"Thank god the dog was wearing a jacket," one person said.
Another user took the situation as an indication to go shopping, writing, "This is a sign for me to buy that Miu Miu bag."
