The subscription services that can save you cash on everything from groceries to your wardrobe

Loyalty can save you cash when it comes to your favourite places to shop.

By subscribing to some of these services, you can save money both in the short term and in the long run.

Not all, however, are created equal.

Here are some of the best subscription ideas when it comes to groceries, food, streaming services and even fashion.?

Groceries

Woolworths and Coles are the two grocery retailers offering subscriptions that cover deliveries and come with the added benefit of extra deals. Aldi and IGA don't currently offer these services.?

Woolies seems to have the best benefits. It's called Everyday Extra/Delivery Unlimited and it $15 a month or $119 a year.

The service offers 10 per cent off one visit to Woolies and bonus points including reward points and other extra perks, plus free deliveries.

Coles Plus costs $19 a month. It offers free delivery for orders over $50 and bonus points including double Rewards points.

Coles Plus customers can also use 90 minute Click&Collect.

They are also currently offering a one-month trial.

Fruit and veg

It's bread, milk, fruit and veg that can see us popping back into the shops, and we inevitably end up buying items we don't need.

An easy way to avoid this is by subscribing to a fruit and vegetable delivery service.?

Delish is one such service that focuses on in season produce. It's top quality at great prices, with the best value being found in the $69 weekly market box, although you can choose the frequency of your delivery.?

Another service to consider is Good & Fugly which rescues all the fruit and vegetables supermarkets reject for a myriad of reasons, including oversupply and minor blemishes.

Their smallest box of in-season produce costs $42.?

Meal kits and frozen meals?

Meal prep kits are a great idea because by subscribing, you have all your meals planned out and all the ingredients measured out. They are affordable and save on waste.

Marely Spoon and Hello Fresh are two of the most popular services, with Marley Spoon meals starting from $5.82 per portion and Hello Fresh starting from $8.25 per portion.??

Both services offer attractive introductory offers and some customers jump in between them to take advantage of their introductory offers.

Also, when you go to cancel the service, they offer special deals to entice you to say.?

Then there are pre-prepared meal companies like Lite n' Easy and My Muscle Chef which go one step further. These ready-to-eat meals are fresh and frozen and are great to bring to work to save on takeaway.

TV subscriptions

There are so many streaming services. Most families have one or two regulars they subscribe to and jump between the others depending on the shows that are streaming.

Plus, many of us subscribe to more than one service, according to our Nine.com.au reader survey:

STAN starts at $10 per month for the basic package, and streams awesome shows like Search Party, Ten Pound Poms, Poker Face and Totally Completely Fine.

Netflix starts from $6.99 for their ad supported content per month, while $22.99 is for no ads. It has great shows including Manifest, The Watcher and Inventing Anna.

Disney Plus is $13.99 a month, and is currently streaming The Kardashians and the Brook Shields' documentary Pretty Baby.

Amazon Prime Video is $9.99 per month, and my daughter says it has "all the stuff you can't find anywhere else." This includes DeadLock, Citadel and Shiny Happy People.

?Binge is the streaming service offering by Foxtel, and it starts at $10 per month with the premium package costing $18?. Binge is streaming shows such as The Idol, Succession, Euphoria and many, many more.

Apple Plus is $9.99 per month and streams Morning Wars, which is awesome and Season 3 is in production.

The new Selena Gomez documentary about her mental health is also streaming on Apple Plus, as are Dear Edward, Ted Lasso and The Last Thing He Told Me with Jennifer Garner.

Paramount Plus has a lot of great TV shows they are streaming, with some of the best being South Park and Yellowjackets, and it costs $9.99 per month.?

HayU is the home of reality TV and true crime and costs ?$6.99 per month. If you have Binge, many of the shows are on there too จC like Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck, Summer House and Real Housewives.

Fashion

You can also subscribe to fashion services to save you money on buying endless outfits for work and events.

It also has the added benefit of helping you not to contribute to fast fashion.

Glam Corner is a popular choice that allows you to rent clothes and return them; some of the girls in the Nine office swear by it and they say it saves them heaps.

It starts at $99 per month but offers three tiers of service depending on what you need.

At Glam Corner you can currently earn $120 off membership ($30 off for the first four months) until the end of June. The website is great for everything from work wear to events.

Another service is Fashion Pass which costs $89 per month but offers $20 off the first month. There are three separate tiers to choose from and focuses on everyday clothing and work wear.
