P?ainting your home can be a messy enough without drips dribbling down the sides of the paint tin.
Even if you have protective sheets under the tray your pouring the paint into?, it's easy for any splashes on that sheet to transfer elsewhere.

Grace showed how she does the trick in a reel on her Instagram page, and all you need for the mess-free solution is masking tape.
"Use two pieces of masking tape? and fold into a point," the text on her video read.
To do this Grace puts a small strip on one side of the tin's rim, followed by a similar sized piece on the other side to make an upside-down V shape.
?"Pour the paint and catch the drip with the brush. Remove the tape and ta-daaa clean tin with no drips or spills," her instructions read.

Grace's followers loved the hack, though one admitted she needed it a few months ago while painting her daughter's room.
"?You have blown my mind! I am such a messy decorator!!" she said.
"You don't want to see my paint cans. I need to slow down and do this!?" another commented.
"?Fabulous trick! I must admit I always hate seeing huge drips on paint cans so this is great!" a woman posted.
"?Game changer! I always end up with loads down the side of the tin," wrote another.

There was also another paint tin hack shared in the comments.
"?That's a good one. I always put two layers of cling film on the tin before putting the lid back on so it doesn't weld itself together," they said.
If it's your paint roller you need a mess-free solution for rather than your paint tins, there is a hack for that too.

All you need is an empty จC and preferably clean? จC Pringles tube.
To use the Pringles container? for paint roller storage you'll first need to drill a hole in the lid to slide the metal part of the roller onto.
