By Rachael Gavin|

T?he cupboard under the sink has a big job to do holding cleaning supplies, plastic bags and rubbish bins in one small space.

But it's an area that quickly gets messy and disorganised, especially when plastic bags overflow and spill out into the rest of the cupboard.

To solve that annoying problem, professional organiser Anita Birges has a hack she's been using herself for a long time. She shared it with her followers in a reel on her Instagram page.

"This is a classic storage hack that I have been literally been doing for years and it will take you about five minutes to install," she captioned her post.

"Grab yourself a simple file holder! You can pick one up for about $5 from a range of stores. Attach it to the inside of your cupboard door with some double-sided tape and you are done?.

"If you have an organised, contained space, it stops things like plastic bags getting out of control."
