Popular toy sold at major retailers recalled ahead of Christmas due to safety risk

A? popular toy sold at major retailers including Big W, Target and Amazon has been recalled due to safety concerns.

?Hasbro's Elefun Flyers toy has been recalled by Product Safety Australia (PSA) just days out from Christmas.

The game, in which players stomp on the elephant's tail to launch round discs into the air for them to catch in their nets, poses "a risk of facial injury" if a disc strikes a child in the face.

"There is a risk of facial injury (skin abrasions or bruising) to children," the recall states.

Consumers who have purchased the toy, which was sold nationally between September 1, 2021 and January 5, 2022, have been advised to return this to the place of purchase for a full refund.
