Pavlovic, who rose to fame on The Bachelor, thought Paddy may have picked the virus from the hospital before coming home and infecting her daughter.

"She was such a silent little girl, and she didn't really cry a lot or anything, so it was so hard to tell that she was sick."

Upon paying close attention to her daughter's breathing, she went to get her checked out at the hospital, where they were ultimately told to go home.?

"Took her to hospital [again] and they got her swabs back and they were like, 'Yeah, OK, so, you're not going to be going home for like quite a while. You're going to be here for quite a while ... it's come back that she's positive for RSV, rhinovirus, and adenoviruses. Three viruses.'"

"Her breathing, you could just see her stomach pumping in and out, and she couldn't drink anymore because she couldn't like suck or anything. She couldn't breathe," Pavlovic shared.?

Unfortunately, Edi-Rae would get far worse before getting better: "It led to bronchiolitis and then a partially collapsed left lung.?

"She was on oxygen and then she needed the high flow and then they were like, 'We're going to move her to ICU because she needs to be watched'."

Living a mother's worst nightmare, Pavlovic spoke with the podcast hosts about her emotions at the time.?

"I remember being so worried, and I remember, you know, you can vibe off people. I'm pretty good at sensing what people are feeling."

Pavlovic felt particularly stressed when she realised the nurses were worried about her newborn.

"I was like, 'Is she going to be OK? Tell me she's going to be OK.' Because they're like, 'We rarely see the three viruses, maybe one or two, but three is not good'," she said.

"I was like, 'She's going to be fine, though, isn't she?' And one of them was just like, 'Look, she's in the best place'. And I was like, 'F---ing what? Don't say that she's in the best place'."

Thankfully, ?Edi-Rae made a full recovery and is now a big sister.
