By Madhurima Haque|

One woman got the surprise of her life after going to the toilet and coming out with a baby.

Jess Davis from the UK shared in a TikTok that has now been viewed 5.6 million times that she felt the need to take a "big s--t", only to give birth on the toilet.

The new mum shares she had "absolutely no idea" she was pregnant.

"Basically because I had no idea I was pregnant I just thought I was having a bad period cramp," she shared in a comment.

She says it was ultimately a "lovely surprise".

Commenters were still nonetheless scared by the surprise birth.

"Ah cryptic pregnancy is my biggest fear. Like I have a child, it's just the unexpected and unpreparedness of it, it's scary," said one commenter.

"I gave birth to my baby on the toilet after deciding to go for a quick 'clear out' before we left for the hospital," shared one mum.

"Not me sitting on the toilet, currently scared of the results of my bowel movement," said one frightened commenter.

Jess is not the only one to experience cryptic pregnancy. Another British woman, Jo Bennett, also went to do a "big poo" after eating a kebab, only to end up in hospital being told she had a "full womb" and was in labour.
