The big changes coming to Meghan Markle's podcast, Archetypes

Meghan Markle's hugely successful podcast, Archetypes has been relaunched on all streaming platforms, now with a brand new look.?

In signing a new deal with Lemonade Media, the Duchess of Sussex is making moves to rebrand after the Spotify contract was not renewed.

This new commercial deal has seen the Archetypes podcast being released on all platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Audible and Spotify.??

Eagle eyed fans noticed the Archetypes cover with Lemonada has had a facelift from when it was on Spotify.?

The original podcast picture featured Meghan on a green background with the title overlaid, now the cover is purple and the title has been moved to above her head.

Archetypes maintains the same name and mission, "a podcast where we investigate, dissect, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back."

The female-founded podcast was previously streamed exclusively on Spotify as a part of Harry and Meghan's lucrative deal which ended in mid-2023 reportedly worth $US20 million ($30.6 million).

The previous 13 episodes now stream on all platforms, originally released from August to November 2022.?

Originally, the news was shared on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new website Sussex.com.

"Lemonada Media, the award-winning podcast network today announced a new creative partnership with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex," the press release said.

"As part of their new deal, Lemonada will distribute the first season of the award-winning and critically acclaimed Archetypes for all audio platforms and also develop a new original series as yet untitled hosted by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex."?

The company said it is "beyond honoured that Meghan has trusted us to help democratise access to Archetypes, that so many more people around the world will have access to."

Lemonada said: "Meghan's talent as host, creator and conversationalist? is unparalleled."

Upon the announcement of her new commercial deal, Meghan released a statement that said: ?"I'm proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.

"Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024."

Lemonada's CEO and co-founder, Jessica Cordova Kramer, said the company is "blown away by her collaborative spirit and clear vision, along with her deep desire to build compassion and community through this work."
