By Natalie Oliveri|

T?he official website for the British royal family has finally made changes to Prince Harry's biography, removing a title he lost three years ago.

His Royal Highness has now been taken off Prince Harry's page after the palace was alerted to the error late last week.

The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, lost the right to be addressed as His/Her Royal Highness when they stepped back as senior working royals in 2020.

Buckingham Palace said the error was due to the long process of updating 5000 pages across the website, with many changes needed since the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

?Prince Harry's position on the website has also shifted down to sit below those of working members of the royal family.

The biographies for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now placed side by side and below the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra and the Duke of Kent.

Prince Andrew, who stepped back from public duties in November 2019 following sex abuse allegations which he's always denied, is now at the bottom of the page.

The error in Prince Harry's biography was pointed out by UK newspaper The Express on Friday.

In response the palace swiftly made the change, also no longer referring to Prince Harry as the youngest son of the Prince of Wales จC now King Charles III.

The website now says: "The Duke of Sussex is fifth in line to the throne and the younger son of The King and Diana, Princess of Wales."?

"Following the death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, content has been revisited and updated periodically. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete."

The features on Clarence House and Kensington Palace have been updated to reflect the King and Queen's new titles, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Prior to the changes, made hastily on Saturday morning, Charles and Camilla had been referred to as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, titles they ceased using after Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 last year.
