Maddison Leach is nine.com.au's Senior Features Writer. She previously worked as 9Honey's Senior Features Writer and TikTok editorial lead.
She also held prior roles as a Senior Writer at Are Media, where she covered the 2022 Logies live from the red carpet, and as a Lineup Editor on the nine.com.au homepage.
Maddison completed her undergraduate degree in journalism and creative writing at the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Westminster, London.
Her passion lies in long form features about everything from families demanding a recall of a dangerous pet treat, to the harrowing experiences of women living with endometriosis, to interviews with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Her goal is to find the human side of every story.
Maddison was nominated for Young Writer of the Year at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2023 and Journalist of the Year at the 2024 b&t Women in Media Awards.
